Course Fees and Dates

RYA Day skipper Theory and Yachtmaster / Coastal Skipper Theory

The courses are usually run over the autumn and winter months and last for approximately 26 weeks. They are run on Wednesday evening each week in TMYC’s clubhouse, and can typically accommodate circa 10 students on each  course.

These courses are available to both members and visitors alike.

Course fees are per person. Discounted rate for TMYC members is shown between parentheses.

* for 8 years of age and over, must be accompanied by an adult.

2 day course for 1-3 persons
fees: for 2-3 sharing is £180 pp (£152),
for 1 person only is £300 (£260)
Includes Inland Waterways Handbook & Certificate for successful candidates.

Use of school boat is £120 surcharge.

The above courses show the discounted rate for TMYC members. If there are any additional discounts then please refer to the published Enrolment Form.

Participants in RYA Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper courses are automatically granted temporary membership of the TMYC and may enjoy all the benefits of membership.
